Dueker Solutions was launched in December 2022, to better serve our customers in all aspects of water supply. Today, we are introducing the team to you. Among them are some new faces, and others you will already know. Here they introduce themselves in their own words.

Marcus Karl

Marcus Karl, Managing Director of Dueker Solutions, is a true Dueker man and is looking forward to the new challenges.


I am Marcus Karl. I’m 38 years old, married, and have two children. As Managing Director of Dueker Solutions, I have been responsible for Procurement and Sales & Operations Planning since 1 November 2022.

In 2002, I started my professional career at Dueker with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk. Thanks to my years of work in the sales department for fittings and valves, I gained very good product knowledge. I then expanded my experience in purchasing and established a new logistics department. Since 2018, I have been responsible for the areas of purchasing and logistics.

Dueker not only offers innovative products, but also trains its own employees very well. This results in promising career opportunities for in-house trainees. These employees are the ideal basis for Dueker to further expand the Flow Control & Drainage business unit in order to showcase ourselves to our customers as a perfect solution provider in the field of water and waste water. I am looking forward to the new challenges and a successful cooperation with the entire Dueker team.

Cafer Filiz

Cafer Filiz, Managing Director for the Supply Chain, knows what the supply chain (still) needs.


I am Cafer Filiz, a graduate engineer  in foundry technology, I have been with the company since 1 October 2022, and, as Managing Director, I am responsible for the Supply Chain Division at Dueker Solutions.

Before joining Dueker Group, I gained and successfully applied experience in project, quality and supplier management and engineering in foundries. After my time at Linde, my last position was Head of Foundry at Allweiler GmbH.

In the short time that I have been working at Dueker, I have met competent and motivated employees and colleagues who manufacture and distribute renowned Dueker products. To serve and expand our customer requirements in line with demand, it is necessary to have a combination of products from our own production as well as strategically purchased ones. This is the role that the supply chain plays.

I look forward to expanding our market position together, getting to know the company better and working with you.

Florian Thurn

My name is Florian Thurn, and I have worked as Director of Finance and Sales for Dueker Solutions GmbH since 1 March 2023.


I was born in Schweinfurt and grew up in the Hammelburg area, so I’ve been aware of the Dueker company for a very long time.

Following a commercial apprenticeship, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Würzburg and then a Master's degree in Bamberg. I focused on finance and controlling and company management, and during my studies I was able to gain my first practical experience at Brose Fahrzeugteile SE & Co. KG.

I then returned home for personal reasons. I worked at Uponor GmbH, where I was responsible for plant controlling for two German locations and took on leading tasks in logistics and investment controlling at the European level.

In November 2021, I started working as Group Controller at Dueker, where I was immediately able to take on a wide range of tasks. This provided me with an early experience in many fields of activity.

Since March 2023, Dueker has offered me another field of activity. In addition to finance, I am also responsible for sales at Dueker Solutions GmbH.

I am looking forward to working closely with the team, and to the further successful development of the Dueker Group! The slogan "Achieving individual goals better together"  inspires me, as does the close cooperation with all of you!

Jürgen Marschall

Jürgen Marschall, Head of Sales for the DACH region, is a salesman through and through, and is exceptionally proud of his strong team.

My name is Jürgen Marschall, and I am 51 years young. I’m married with two grown-up children and I have loved sales for over 30 years.

I’m a trained businessman through and through, with plenty of experience. I’m a home-grown Dueker employee – yes, you heard me right. I have been fascinated by Dueker ever since my apprenticeship, and I’m still working in sales today.


From area salesman to regional sales manager to drainage sales manager, overall sales manager for Germany and currently Head of Sales for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

As Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you won't have to work a day in your life.” So I haven’t really been working for a long time at all” What do I like about Dueker? Right now, the constant development, the exciting prospects, the many new challenges and the people: the sales team!

A strong team means easy wins, and we are a damn strong team! Therefore, you can expect a lot more from us in the near future – I am looking forward to it!

Jürgen Mantel

Jürgen Mantel, Head of Technical Sales, knows civil engineering inside out.


My name is Jürgen Mantel, and I have been working for Dueker since April 2011.

In November 2022, I took over the management of technical sales at Dueker Solutions GmbH.

I started my training as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade in 1989 at Max Sebold in Aschaffenburg. Afterwards, I worked in Aschaffenburg for seven and a half years in the field of civil engineering - in the office as well as in the field.

In 1999, I moved to the Schmieding Heusenstamm company, which distributed Dueker fittings until 2011. Here, too, I was mainly on the road visiting water suppliers in Hesse.

When Dueker starting distributing its fittings itself from 2011 onwards, I was right there, looking after the regions of Hesse, parts of Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg and Lower Franconia. I find my new job very interesting, because the demand for fittings that are far above the standard is growing.
