They are available with or without a hand wheel, with an electric actuator, with a stem extension set with or without a position indicator as well as with a hydraulic or pneumatic rotary actuator – the Dueker butterfly valve. Whichever variant you choose, it will be made of ductile cast iron and fully enamelled according to the requirements of DEV (German Enamellers’ Association) guidelines and ISO 11177. This signifies top quality and a long service life – it functions reliably, can withstand a lot and is incredibly versatile.
Many thousands of kilometres of pipelines carry drinking water to consumers in every country. Hygiene is the ultimate requirement. Long-term functional reliability and load-bearing capacity are a must. As are resistance to ground movements and corrosion protection against environmental conditions. And in all these areas, Dueker valves – made of enamelled ductile cast iron – are unbeatable. And other aspects also come into play and are becoming increasingly important: cost-effectiveness and 100% recyclability – the butterfly valves can simply be melted down again if they should ever need to be. That is what we mean by recycling economy. .
Valves are required for all pipelines that carry liquids in order to shut them off safely. The Dueker butterfly valve closes tightly in both flow directions and can be installed anywhere along the pipe. Whether you are transporting drinking water or untreated water – Dueker butterfly valves are the perfect solution for these as well as many other media and liquids. For water at temperatures up to 60 °C. If you need a butterfly valve for a special medium, just get in touch. We are sure to find a solution..
Dueker butterfly valves have a flow-optimised, double eccentrically mounted valve disc. The coupling between the disc and the shaft is created by a square plug-in coupling, which guarantees reliable and easy operation. The Dueker slider crank mechanism gear has stood the test of time. At a constant input speed, the closing speed decreases continuously to ensure that the slider crank mechanism gear closes softly. This effectively reduces or completely prevents pressure surges. The gearbox is encapsulated watertight (International Protection Code IP 68) and has a mechanical position indicator (OPEN/CLOSED)..
Düker butterfly valves are available in almost all sizes - from DN 100 to DN 1200 in the pressure stages PN 10, PN 16 and - on request - PN 25. Up to DN 800, the butterfly valves are enameled inside and outside. From DN 900, they are coated on the outside with 2-component epoxy paint. All information on variants, designs and materials can be found at here.
