New technical managing director

Laufach - Karstadt. Düker has strengthened its management board. With effect of 01 April 2010, Dipl.-Ing. Torsten Stein is the new Technical Managing Director. 

In the person of Mr Stein, Düker gains further management potential with long-term experience in the foundry business.

Mr Stein is 44 years old, is married and has two children. After an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, he studied at the engineer school in Leipzig, which he finished in 1990 as a foundry graduate engineer. In 2003 he completed a three-year distance study as an engineering & business graduate.

Before he came to Düker, Mr Stein collected comprehensive know-how in various executive positions in the foundry business.

He started his career at the Olsberg GmbH (1990 – 1997) as an assistant to the foundry manager for serial casting. After that, and until his arrival at Düker, Mr Stein worked at the company  Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH in Lollar, at first as an assistant to the technical management, later as the foundry manager and finally as the deputy production manager.

In total, Mr Stein counts almost 20 years of practice in the foundry business.

We are sure that Mr Stein, with his experience and leadership competence, will be an asset to the company Düker, and that we have found a competent, committed and cooperative managing director, who will give Mr Hezel, management spokesman, a practical support from the technical point of view.
